Employed since 1970 by the Los Angeles Police Department, Mr. Fleischmann is a recognized expert in firearms and tactics, also holding certification in Police Underwater Search and Recovery as a Dive Master. Along with his black belt in Karate, he is a qualified expert in street and prison gangs, narcotics and firearms. His background includes: FBI Range Master, Police Firearms Instructor and Sniper School, LAPD Instructor in Handgun, Shotgun and Rifle, and LA County Sheriff’s Carbine Instructor and DOE SWAT School. Recent assignments have included training seventy instructors in firearms teaching techniques for LAPD, training US Marine Corps in pistol and shotgun techniques, and Navy Seal and US Army Special Force Instructors in urban rifle. Mr. Fleischmann is rated as a Distinguished Expert in the semi automatic pistol by Los Angeles Police Department, a rating held by just over 100 officers. He also serves on the Advisory Council at Black Mountain Training Center.
