Carbine/Rifle
The Carbine/Rifle Course will introduce the student to the role of the carbine/rifle in an urban environment, and the growing role it plays in the law enforcement defensive plan. This course emphasizes the tactical advantage of the Carbine/Rifle, such as greater firepower, longer range, higher hit probability, fewer stray projectiles and improved accuracy. This course will cover the tactical advantages of the carbine/rifle, basic rifle fundamentals, various firing positions, sound judgment and target engagement at close and extended ranges. The curriculum will place great emphasis on rifle techniques, tactics, marksmanship skills and technical understanding of the carbine/rifle.

Program Duration:
Four (4) day instructional course, taught by experienced law enforcement professionals, may be taken in two phases to accommodate the scheduling needs of students, when necessary.
