Our protective services training is conducted at Black Mountain Training Center (BMTC), which also serves as the headquarters for BlackMountain Group. This enables us to contribute more funds into our training mission where we can better serve our clients. Our protective services training programs and policies are consistent with that of all state and federal law enforcement doctrines and are legally defensible. All our protective services operators receive a special three week course in basic and advanced security operations prior to an assignment. Our security operators are required to maintain a certain skill level within our organization. They are required to train on a regular basis above and beyond what is now required by the state of California. Our personal protection operators receive specialized training in executive protection and security operations procedures, so they will recognize and be aware of security problems that could arise. We maintain training records and weapons qualifications at our training facility as part of the security and personal protection operators’ personnel package.
